Coolant line set-up for Turbo!!!!

Not sure about what others are doing but I used the carb heat lines for the turbo coolant. Tee into the coolant on the small line from the pump, before the carbs. For the return tee into the line where the carb heat coolant returns to the top coolant header off the top of the head.

I used the coolant lines but didn't tee into them ,just went off the ends and didn't run coolant through the carbs. With boosted air there should never be a problem with the carbs freezing as the air gets heated under compression, Ken.

I never like running the coolant from the carbs thru the turbo. I have yet to need the heat thru the carbs be turned on. I got the fittings from Alpine, the turbo is metric threads. Take the coolant hose that goes from the thermostat housing to the oil cooler. Switch it end for end, so the 90' bend goes to the thermostat housing, the other end to the turbo, then a new piece of hose from the turbo to the oil cooler. It about 3/8 line instead of the 1/4 line from the carbs. You likely can get the fittings in Ont, you will need to nipples in the turbo, 1 45' angle, and 1 90' fitting that go into the hose. PM your e@mail, try to send you a pic.
