Cost for Apex/Attak Oil change?

Whats everyone being charged by dealer for oil change.

Dealer that has our Attak called to say its ready and that the bill is $250 for an oil change and test drive!

They said it took the tech 2 hours to do, anyone know what yamaha pulls hour wise for an oil change.

I spend Approximately $75-80 a year in 2-stroke oil, id actually be saving money with 2-stroke at the cost of the oil change haha.

Sounds about right for what my local dealer charges. I have it done by a friend for $30 who worked at the dealer previously. $60 for the oil, $14 for the filter, 1.5 hours for the labour at $90 an hour would approx. a total of $210 + tax = $237 cdn.

Man ypu guys are nuts. Mobil 1 0w30 at 4.50 a quart and 30 minutes time. Total cost 16.00 bucks.

It's about $12.00 bucks here in Canada for the 0W-40 Mobil-1 and about $10 bucks for a Hi-Flo filter, and that is what I use and do it myself but the original OP stated his Father wanted to take it there for some reason?

After this, I am pretty sure that will be the last time he does?

I just did an oil change on my apex yestrday and there is no way it can be done in .78 hrs.

Here is my bill. Oil/filter change and battery swap in .78 hours. That is what they charged me anyway.

If they do them all the time I bet it can be done easily.

On a side note I see they installed 0-40. Glad to see it as I do as well on my Attak.
