I own an Apex GT, first let me say this machine is great. Its the first sled I have had in years. I had it on the lake this weekend and the only sled that took me was a Mach, but I actually did beat it once (Every 600 in stock and a few Rev 800s).
So far I havent noticed any handwarmer or wheel issues, however I believe I have been bottoming out. Im not truly sure though exactly if its up front or in the rear. My confusion lies with the fact that I only weigh 165lbs. So in theory this should not happen. I havent played with the suspension at all, other than having the compression set all the way hard. I do have 144 studs as well. The trails were a mess as well, which obviously played the part of this delema. The sound is more of a thug...thug...
Any help is appreciated.

Well, I adjusted the rear rebound to the full 30 clicks hard as suggested and had the compression set all the way hard. However, I still hear a thug sound! This test trail was way rough mogul after another. Again I weight under 170lbs. I didnt have anyone with me to inpect the sag length.
Could I possibly be hearing something else? I did notice scratch marks from my studs on the back plate above the track. Some other information to note, I was going very slow 5-10mph to test this as well. Could this be my limiter strap flexing? Or even my clutch engaging? Or could this be the front suspension?
Thanks...I'm truly not an idiot just new to riding.

I read your post again.....The Mono makes a clicking sound at slow speeds on bumpy trails...I think it the controll Rod opening and closing (coupled/uncoupled) or it certainly could be the limiter strap but nothing to worry about. Hope this helps

Thanks. I turned the knob 10 clicks from the left as the manual states. Basically, sitting on the left side of the sled (brake lever side) and turned the knob as many clicks as possible to the left or counter clockwise. Then turned it back 10 clicks clockwise to the right.
limiter straps guys,my RTX does it and my bro's attack, low speeds little stutter bumps...how do we fix it,my rtx does not bottom out either
I found this in another forum:

So should I tighten the limiter strap?
