this weekend at the colma speed run we hit 130 mph in 1000 ft. not bad for just a trail turbo and a completely stock apex engine, boost was set at 12 psi and was running acouple gallons of race gas in the tank due to the higher compression ratio of the stock engine. with a lower compression set up you can run this boost level on pump gas all the time. personally i prefer to run the stock engine at 8 psi for trail riding which makes 240 hp, then turn it up to 12 psi for radar runs with alittle race gas to make over 270hp. the simons cpr turbo apex is really proving to be a potent duel purpose package.

This is great to see, and its nice to have someone credible to back up the speeds us less credible guys are running. Who said 4 strokes were slow?

Do you have any idea what your speed was at 660 feet?..............just curious

yes, acouple weeks ago we ran a 660 ft speed run and we ran 116.7 mph.

its unreal, it accellerates like your driving a full mod, but its your trail sled. buy far the best trail sled i have ever driven. jeff

how is that thing out of the hole..............with the stock engine(no shim)?

Was at Colma this weekend watching the race. The Simons CPR turbos cleaned house. Simon's trail turbo was impressive and the top two speeds of the day where turbo sleds also running CPR turbos. One ran 148mph and the other 147mph. WOW!!! For any sleds to go that fast with the track they ran on (very bumpy) blew my mind. The sleds where leaving the ground all the way down the track it was nuts. The closest sled ran 135mph so they where way out in front. Great job Jeff
