Who is Cor PowerSports?
Cor PowerSports was launched in Jan ’10 as we felt we need to change the ground work for our family race team. We had raced for 15 years with our own personal agenda but we felt that there was a much higher calling to what we could do with our influence in racing. Not influence for personal gain but for a much higher calling. That is when we decided the foundation for Cor PowerSports would be based on the 3 F’s: Faith, Family, & Fun!! We started out in ‘10 competing at various snowmobile race events in WI. In ‘11 we raced some snocross and cross country events and that is when we had the vision of launching the Cor PowerSports Cross Country series as there wasn’t a cross country series in WI, there hasn’t been a WI series since 2003!!

‘12 was our inaugural season and our goal was to create a family oriented series. Over the past 4 seasons we have strived to bring cross country racing back in full force not only here in WI but MI. For the first 3 years we had only hosted events at various venues in WI but last season we expanded the series to include Upper MI to the schedule with two weekends.
For the 2016 season we will be bringing back the classic Munising, MI cross country race plus all the venues in WI that have made the Cor PowerSports series a success.
We start out our season racing on select lakes in WI but these are not your typical lake race as we do not plow the race course, if there is 2 feet of snow we are racing and it has proven to be very rough and technical! New for 2016 will be that our Premier class (Pro Stock) will be 100 miles in distance at every round in 2016, at the venues we ran this distance in 2015 it has been some of our most exciting racing for the fans and our racers.
