Changed oil today and thought as long as I had everything apart I would check plugs. Plugs looked good but every end cap was loose what is the best way to stop this from happening I scored the threads but didn't seem to work. Any suggestions. Somebody said locktite but will this interfere with the conductivity. Any help appreciated. Thanks Woodysattack

I crimped the ends of mine in a vice and then threaded them on

You can also buy plugs with permanent ends. Not sure what the designation is for them.

I put loctite on mine. I have started it up and I can't tell the difference. If conductivity is a factor I am sure not noticing it.

i used locktite only on base of threads, been fine.
I honestly dont see locktite hurting the conductivity, most times when i remove a bolt with blue on it you cannot even see it anymore.

Tighten them on with a pliers, don't use lock-tight. I always tighten with pliers and they go no where. Not even when they deto and loosen the whole plug out of the head on a two-stroke!
