Hey guys ! So my sled is in deep need of traction, it just wont take off and keep spinning. I have a 2003 RX1 with a 151 skid from a 05 moutain. I just cant make my mind on wich track would be better for my sled i ride 50/50 and will install 8 theet extroverts !!! Thanks for any input !!!

You cant go wrong with the 151 challenger 2 inch. If you want to get fancy and have more options get 7 tooth 3 pitch extros and look at the 153" tracks.

The only thing from what i can read some people seems to find that the challenger dont have much grip taking off but ive been reading a lot on those two tracks but the more i read the more i am confused... Maybe someone could tell me from experience wich thet prefer and why !!!

I have only had the challenger and it hooks up enough to pull my skis off the ground. My expert x has good transfer, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I will say that it lasted a long time until I added boost.

I wanted a crossover but found a deal on a new 2"x151" challenger.I ride 75% on 25% off.I run 9 tooth extros. All I did was cut the lugs down to 1.5"traction is great both on and off the trail.I have the stock 03 mountain skid with transfer kit and ohlins. It'll lift the skis in the deep as well as on the trail.I didn't think the 2'' paddles held up very well on hard pack.Once you cut off the lug,the part that is left is thick and stiff. There was enough thickness to take a router and cut scoops/teeth into the tops of the remaining lugs.I also ported it.Seems pretty lite with lugs cut down, ported, clipped every third.Time consuming to do but worked excellent for me,plus you can get a new take off challenger cheap if you look around.
