After searching for a stock tow bracket and coming up with nothing worth while for the RX-1 Mnt. I decided to have one custom made. I had a local machine shop put it together, made out of stainless steel. Since the photo I drilled a hole in the bracket to mount the safety strap to instead of wrapping it around the lift bar. One question is the trailer pin the rightway or should it be turned around? I wasn't sure.

Not sure on how thick the material is, but I would be afraid that it is going to snap at the bend on the bumper. Stainless doesn't like to be bent back and forth (from what I have been told). I guess if the trailer is really light and you ride senseibly, it might work.JMO

My only suggestion would be to run a piece up from the hitch under the bumper to the bracket on the tunnel top. Every thing else looks strong enough. My worry is to much flexing as well. I would bolt this piece in as stainless is notorious for stress cracks at welds. Because you wanted a drop hitch and created a angle pull. I would also bolt the bracket down to the lift bumper with J hooks or threw the brace under the bumper clamping the bumper in the middle. Does not need to be as wide as the piece you used. One inch flat bar is good. Of course I have a bad habit of over building everything!
The weld at the hitch will need to be watched for cracking.
