customizing venture gt

ok. I have done a search and cannot find if anyone has raised the seat on a 2013 rs venture gt. no seat kits available either.

brother also wants apex style hooked handle bars on it with a bit taller bars. I assume unless told otherwise that this should be plug and play.

any info on these mods would be appreciated.

How high up do you want the seat? Any minor lifts could be done by having it reupholstered and putting more foam in the #*$&@ area, if you want to go significantly higher i doubt you'll find anything like that. Afaik nobody makes kits, but if you wanted to do it you would need to find a way to extend the seat mount bolts and all that, would be a big job. plus now you have to deal with an ugly gap where the seat used to sit.

Cant say forsure if its plug and play, you can just do a straight handlebar swap without any handwarmer or light controls and i dont think you will have any issues, as far as putting a riser on it as long as you have enough play in your throttle cable and electrical wires ie Dont go over 8" then all should be good. like 4stroke said message Hibshman and he will hook you up

I thought about putting the Venture seat setup on my 2014 Vec LTX. I thought they were the same length tracks but Hibsham25 said it won't fit because the Venture tunnel is longer. I like the shape of the Venture seat better but it feels even lower than the seat on my LTX does so even if I could have, I wouldn't have done it.

That's one small disappointment I have with my TF is that the seat actually feels lower than my Venture Lite. If I could get another inch it would be great. Hooked handle bars would be a nice addition as well. Is there another model with hooked handle bars that can be swapped?
