Has anyone ever cut a skid down? I have a boosted 162" nytro. Use it for racing but keep blowing tracks. Want to go down to a 144" and looks like I can make one out of my 162". Anyone ever done or herd of this?

Doing so would change the geometry of the sled? Though doing extensions does the same thing with little foul. If it where me I would just go and buy a cheap skid for dragging and keep or sell the 162 for fun outings

That is my plan just thought it would be cool to see if I could do it. Also the mountain skid have a way way better attack angle for racing however rails can be modified on a 144" as well. I would just get some ice age rails. They will boldt right up if you get them.made for your skid.

I agree with pro. Would be a lot easier to switch back and forth.
