Well cleaned the carbs on my 05 Venture, went for a 140 km ride and one cylinder was loading up, got a reply to check my needle seat on the one cylinder that was loading which was very helpful. So pulled the carbs off again and really checked them over really did'nt see anything but who knows might of missed something microscopic. It seems better but seems to have a dead spot or it lags at about 50km/ hour and then after that goes like stink. Just wondering if i missed something, also wondering if i should of pulled the metering switches out to check them? Also changed the oil just in case i got gas in it , smelt like some gas in it anyways and did'nt want to take a chance , but at 16.00 bucks a litre at C.T.C for Amsoil what the hell good insurance. What position should the clip be in on the needle, can't really find it in ty tech. Check this site daily and it rocks a lot of info here and really glad to be a member
