I have been searching here and in the clutching section and can't find the info I'm looking for. I have an 09 xtx that I just put a pc3, excell header, plugs and filters on. I have D&F's running Turks set up with the filters and plugs and filters and everything was fine with 5 in the shoulder and one in the centre. Since I installed the header and pc3 I have added 2 washers to the centre and am still hitting the rev limiter. I know I saw a post about someone running the same set up but can't find it. Should I keep adding weight to the centre or should I add som weight to the tip? I would test but we don't have enough snow at home. Thanks for the help and happy new year!!

I have the same set-up but I'm runing 2 washers in the center and 2 washers in the shoulder. It seems to work good for me

Add a washer to the tip for sure. You do have the bolt there now, correct?

No bolt in the tip...

Nope, the tip is empty, I tried all the combinations last year comparing it side by side against another sled. That seemed to work best for me.

Everyone on here can give you a good base line to start from with clutching. Until you can test in the area you ride or are going to do most of your riding a good baseline is all you are going to get, especially with DnFlies. I had to go to the store to find lighter bolts to fit/clear to dial her right in with teh kit you have.
Learning how to clutch yourself is worth a world of frustration. M2C :-o
