Going with the Hurricane SM bundle cluster flash next week. I will be using the QAY 70 weights up front. Looking for a nice low engagement between 2700 and 3000. What spring do you guys recommend? Black/Red 48/120 or the red 40/133?

I stand corrected...red was what I meant at 40 kgs.

What sort of engagement RPM was it at Dan? I bought one in a kit. I was using the Thunder Products Orange in the Primary. It has a very smooth, Low RPM engagement.

Does any one know what the Thunder Products Orange Primary spring ratings are?

According to Dalton’s website the black/bronze is a similar engagement to the stock spring but with a little higher compression. It says stock is 57/115 and this spring is 56/128. I got this spring with a clutch kit from TD and Ben confirmed this. I haven’t had a chance to ride it yet with the new clutch kit but that is what I’m hoping for.

Dan what do you like better about the blk/red vrs the blk/blue? Reason I ask,i have both daltons blue and green springs, the only time I ran his blk/gren was on grass, wanted higher engagement, but for trail riding I don't need or want a lot of engagement.Ive been liking the bk/red alot for most of last yr, Helps keep top end RPMS in check. Before that I ran the bk/blue mostly but didn't like as much as this.
