We would like to hard wire two Heated Helmet Visor plugs, dash mount style, into our 2011 RS Venture. One in the dash for the driver and one beside the rear hand warmer for the passenger. Any suggestions on where to take the wires from and perhaps where to get a Dash mounted plug to install? Directly from the battery or perhaps some other source?
Thanks

I would run it to a switched source. If you have the cigarette lighter like outlet tap into that. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...iid=&me=&qid=1326735375&sr=8-1&seller=&colid=

I wired directly to the battery with an inline fuse

x2. On my 2009 RS Venture I ran both to the battery with a 3 amp (i think) inline fuse. I took the seat off and ran the one for the rear under there and just left the female end of the connector hanging out by the left passenger handwarmer. For the driver (me), I ran the wires across the top of the gas tamk and put a plug in the vented plastic just to the right of the hood latch.
For the plug, I went to Royal Distributing. It couldn't have been more than 8 bucks.
