Yeah, that's what he said. Hasn't heard of any problems with it icing. I know that's crap because of this site, and because of the update. How many have had your cable ice?

Mine iced and pulled out after 400 miles. This was riding in 2 feet of powder at zero degrees. I am still on all the update parts. There is definitely a minor problem.

Find a different dealer willing to help you if you're having problems.

1,100 miles, my cable is still attached, but I only get 12 clicks vs the designed 20.

It's just a matter of time before they all go... The question is whether they pay (in warranty) or YOU pay...
It is a defective design...

Better at least get the cable protector on order...First come first served...currently backordered until March 15...

Mine didn't break in the first 3300 kms.
Then the dealer installed the cable protector.
Within the next 1000 kms it broke (don't know if it was just on the edge or what?)
I just got the sled back last night. Today I had a good look over it. New cable - but, no cable protector anymore.
I'll have to call them Monday to figure out the story...

That's because the cable protector is on back order. You might as well just have them order you another cable/boot now so they can install them along with the protector...if they ever come in...
680 miles & no problems.

But I had the cable protector update installed a few weeks ago. They took it off when I brought it in to have the cable fixed (broke after the protector was installed).
