Anyone have a dealer in NH or close by that they can reccomend? Plaistow Power Sports is close by but service is beyond terrible.

service??

Hi, Do you need warranty things done?? I would NOT USE A-1 Motorsports for any service. They are hacks. They tried to fix my F6 and they completely trashed it and then said "Hey, you are lucky that it was covered under the warranty, We did the best we could. They ground the tunnel so thin and uneven I almost had a stroke right there in the parking lot. When I looked at it to fix it myself I realized how bad they F'ed it up, calmly went back to them and spoke to the OWNER. He basically told me that it was my fault. If I was rich I would have sued there asses. I bought 15K worth of items from them in 2004 and they could not care less. I will tell everyone I meet that rides sleds 2 things
-[b ::die ]Never let the Pro Hacks at a-1 fix your sled
-Arctic cat is fast, just need to replace every other year

Watersuper,

Just curious why you think Plaistow sucks. Not saying they do or do not, I bought my sled there but have not done any service work yet.
Kens is highly recommended but is in Tamworth.

Just to clarify, close by what? Where are you. I have a great dealer, HK Powersports, but I am in Laconia, NH. Not close to Plaistow, NH.

One place you do NOT want to go to is Freedom Cycles in Concord. Their so called service technicians worked on the clutch on my RX-1. The next ride the bolt backed out of the secondary causing the belt to get chewed to shreds and leaving me stranded.
Another time while having a tank bag installed, the tech was drilling a hole for the snap on the tunnel when he allowed the drill to walk across a tunnel decal leaving an irregular scratch line.
After many years of being a loyal customer and spending tens of thousands of dollars, I asked them to mount a tire for me. The service advisor asked if I bought it there. I said no, and he said if you didn't buy it here we will not mount it. My response was OK then double the usual mounting charge, no problem. I was told NO and to basically go away. So after being a loyal customer for ten years purchasing everything from jet boats, snowmobile and dirt bike parts and accessories, snowmobile trailers, and dirt bikes, I get treated like a second rate citizen.
So now I take my business elsewhere where my purchases are appreciated.

You are obviously in the southen part of the state. I would recommend you go over the border to Billerica Motorsports. They will not charge you sales tax as a NH resident. See Kari in sales or Joe in service. Great Yamaha dealership.

I went to plaistow to buy a new Attak
After 10 minutes there talking to the sales manager I knew they would never get my business

Stay clear of Plaistow Sports

Billerica motorsports has always treated me good. Joe in serevice is a good guy. Kari in sales is very good and also very easy on the eyes. Culleys in Lancaster Ma has also been very good to me.

Funny topic, I have a hard time with many above places. I think they all have the good and bad. The guys in Hudson are nice, but charge list. I drove right past Amherst Motorsports (has since changed hands) into Mass to get my sled at Culleys and I live 2 miles from Amherst Motorsports. They all seem to think it is them or nothing in Southern NH, I can go were someone wants to earn my money and get the service I am looking for.

My complaint about the dealers in Southern NH is that none of them are open on Mondays. So lets say you have boo boo that needs fixing you are forced to order your parts 2nd day or 3 day select and pay xtra to have for the weekend.
My 05 rx1 was purchased at Currier RV in Gorham and my 06 Attak pending its arrival on the 21st is coming from them. Their spring pricing is hard to beat. They offer a discount on parts/access as part of your purchase and a ride to the top of mt Washington in the spring.
There service dept treated me as best they could with the 1st year mono problems. The only thing holding them back was parts availability.

I like culleys, because after they work on your sled, assuming there's snow they have a huge field you can ride it on to make sure its all set.

I bought my wife's Vector from HK, and they have done well by me as well. They are not close to me, but are worth the trip if I need anything more than simple work done.

I'm 2 miles from Plaistow Power sports but will drive as far as I have to for decent service. I did by several sleds and quads from Billerica in the 90's with good results. I had forgot about them.
Thanks for the Laconia suggestion, my favorite riding buddy lives there, I will have to check them out. Dealers in Pittsburg and Rangely have always been good to me but 4 hours is a long way for service.

PS: Wait until you need parts, one stupid women at the counter that has no idea what is going on (3 different times). Had clutch work done 2 years ago when I was too busy to do it myself. One hundred fifty dollars later, I had to make time and fix it myself. I would think alignment and removing 3 washers would be basic clutch work. $150 and squeeling like a pig is what they consider ready for pick up. I did get a good laugh from it!!

Hi, watersuper
I too only live 5 miles from Plaistow power sports, and i bought my Attak from them and hope i never have to go back for any service. I allways do my own work.
I did have a buddy go in for the carbs to get cleaned on a 1997 500 XTC and he all most s#*t when the bill came to a little over $200.00 and i told him i would have done it for a six pack. Learned the hard way
