got back from a ride tonight and noticed my b rear bogey was a little cock eyed, upon inspection i found the center rear bogy was completely broke off and spinning on the shaft loosly and the right rear wheel was about to break free aswell? luckely i have my 144 extensions coming early next week, can i do a big wheel kit or what is best for replacement?

Your extension kit will determine the size rear axle that you can go with.....I assume it would be the standard size that is run up until 2011 went bigger. Sounds like is is time for a whole new set of wheels and bearings...go with a 4th wheel kit.

yes you can save 8 onces of weight, put more stress on the remaining wheels, and also add stress the track. go with 4 rear wheels. this helps keep the track aligned, evens the support for the track from torque across the whole track, and can even have some bling factor if you want.

yeah if its just a weight thing i dont care, id probably start with the 85lbs exhaust if that s the case
. so ur saying do a bigger wheel with 4 or just the stock size. i guess why i ask is i called my local shop and they have stock wheels in stock which would let me ride today and tomorrow but if its worth it to wait and get a bigger aluminum wheel next week. oftracing is a local company here in mn but are not open today. i heard somewhere that doing the 8" wheel frees up 5hp

Are you stretching a 121 06rtx,if you are you should have no problem adding 8" rear idlers,in fact you should be able to go much larger, maybe even 10" ask allen ulmer,i am sure he,or some of the mountain guys can chime in,but you may end up rolling much better with larger rear wheels.granto211 said:Roger wilco

put wheels..on trails the ice.. hard packed snow can be uneven..this will put different presure on the slides..off trail its pretty much always evenly displaced..also the full weight is never really on the slides..so off trail,no wheels..ok..on..put them on..just my opion..my next sled does not have rear wheels..not sure of that..but its going to be mountain only, so I m ok with the no wheels...everyone has a theory on the wheel thing..for me the weight is not going to make a difference..I can skip lunch..lol..

spent the $49 for the stock ones this morn and got to ride out the rest of the day. got a call from muffinworks whos making my 121-144 extension and they said big wheel kit wont work not sure why but when i seen the price of the 8" wheels i wasnt to worried. least o got the removable bearing now minus the one old wheel that i put on the center cause it didnt match the design. figured i could get 2 new blingd boggys for the outside and put the 2 new blk ones on the inside adding a 4 th wheel. whis i coulda gone bigger though
