Hey all,
I am in the market for a Phazer and plan to tear it down and mod it for sno-x/freeriding..So I am considering a GT to save money and change out shocks..Are there any major differences between the GT and FX besides shocks? Thanks, Frank

If you can be without the revers you would save even more money with bying a base model.

Differences between gt/fx is gearing 20/41 gt and 18/41 on fx, gt has wind deflectors and higher windscreen, different tracks but same lug height (1") fx has ripsaw and gt has hecksaw and the fx is equipped with hoocks.

Dont think there are more differences between those two but you can always try the search button.

The FX and base model have more travel in the front suspension than the GT

FX has a taller stance than the GT, and the GT comes with the tall windshield and knee wind deflectors.
I agree that if you wanna buy a Phazer to mod it for racing and plan to put different shocks on it you should just buy a base model.

Go with the base model and mod it to your riding style and what you plan to do with it.
