Different c.v. springs with a turbo?

I will be doing some serious testing with Jeff,s Turbo & holtzman springs this winter. I will keep everyone posted as to the outcome. As far as I know nobody played with these springs on turboed sleds this winter.

Snow Fever played around with carb springs on his turbo setup. Check out his posts on the mountain forum. RX FUN

Guys,
I have the Silver (In the sled Now), Yellow, and Stock.

I finally got the sled together  and today should be the first time on the track today if it doesn't rain. I'll give you guys the updates over in the Mod Section-'Asphalt 2004'.

We'll be playing with springs on the asphalt this summer. Did a little testing on snow this winter, but nothing conclusive to report yet.

My dealer put a set of silvers in on of their Turbo sleds seemed to be better. I have a set that has 6 coils cut off stock springs and a set with 4 coils cut off. The 6 coils cut off stock springs worked best in my set up, but it all depends on how your float bowl pressure is. Near as I can tell it a Black Art :? I'm going to pick up a full set of those after market springs for next winter so I can do lots of testing. I can still hang onto the handle bars when the Turbo hits so I need to juice it up a bit

I think that because you are using pressure rather than vacuum, changing the springs will have a negligable effect on the carbs. Personally I would save your money and spend it on something else.
