Got my risers on and told you I'd post pics. These are actually sport bike risers made by Gen Mar Industries that are installed backwards to do what I wanted. The base of the bar ended up about 1" forward and 1 3/4" higher. They are designed for 7/8" bars, and the bolt hole dimensions are the same as well as the thread pitch. I had to buy 4 longer stainless allen head cap screws to go through the factory saddle though. Nothing radical but did what I wanted. I can now stand straight with my feet in the footwells and there's no articulating mechanism to worry about coming loose.

Now I think I am going to move all of the plugs down under the cowling and use some black wiring conduit so I can leave the black pad off. I can see my gauge well without it.

I think that riser is just sweet ;)!

Thanks. I think the second photo was taken from a seated position. I can see the speedo normally as is, but with the pad zipped back on the view is limited to say the least. I'd sure like to extend the wires so the plugs end up under the tank shroud and just leave the pad off.

I got the riser for free in exchange for R&D feedback to the company. Can't wait to try the sled out now that I can stand. A coworker that runs the C&C machine wants to cut some slightly different design units to omit the factory lower saddle and bolt right to the steering shaft flange.

Let me know if your co-worker would be interested in selling it.

Did you stick with stock wiring?

I'm sure he would if there were enough interested. Right now he's selling camo colored retracting camera holder setups on eBay that attach to trees at your tree stand. ;)!

My wiring is in stock form right now and the pad is back on for an upcoming trip. I'd like to solder in extension wires to place the plugs out of sight and tuck the wires inside a simple ribbed plastic conduit. That would aid in unobstructed view of the gauge. l like the looks of the new sleds without the zippered pads anyway.

Looks great, and I'd like to do the same thing with my wires. I'd also like to get just a small pad that would cover the very center of the bars where they attach to my risers. I think ROX sells one but its way more than its worth.

Be sure to post some pics if you do end up moving the wires and their connections.

That's what I'm thinking. It's just that stock pad that keeps me from seeing the gauge. I just have to work up the nerve to start cutting and soldering, because the plugs won't reach to underneath the shroud as it is.

I'll post some pics when it happens.

I purchased all the parts to convert my RS over to the Nytro setup. I ended up using a Power Madd 4" + the pivot adapter(2") + the Nytro bars.

I ended up purchasing all new control blocks, wiring, etc. from the NYTRO in order to gain the extra length in wires and not have to splice wires.

I have the NYTRO center pad, riser block and mount(all with hardware) FOR SALE if you or anyone is interested in purchasing them. email me jcarrico@emich.edu for pics and additional info.
