Do the apex rtx need a notched track? I just took a 1 inch notched touring track out and am installing a 136 m10 and a 1-1/4 ripsaw that is not notched, does it need to be?

Track only needs to be notched.( holes in track) if you are running extrovert drivers ( sprocket style) ...if it is the stock drivers the track is driven off the lugs on the inside of the track

No notched meaning a cutout for the tunnel protectors not the windows.

track
I don't think so...I have a 136X1.5" lug on my Apex and I left the tunnel protectors in place...The lug is close to the protectors but it doesn't hit..so a 1.25" should be loads of clearance

Nope your fine with 1.25.
If you are talking about tunnel clearance it will be close.I have a M20 in mine when the suspension bottoms out it is very close with my 1.25 ripsaw track in it.you might what to call teamfast for proper measurements for mounting.
I bought it new from teamfast so I have all the measurements,it has tunnel protectors installed so there is a lot of room up on top--maybe to much that is kind of my thinking, did yamaha use a notched ripsaw or not?
