I have a 2010 apex this season which is very similar to my old 06. I notice more vibration especially under hard acceleration. Fells like it starts in the tunnel/foot well area and then in the handlebars. Nothing major just feels like more than my old Apex. The one difference is the 2010 has extrovert drivers. Could this be the source of the increased vibration?

It's possible, especially if the track is really loose.

Many tunnel vibrations on Apexes are caused by a bad speedo side drive axle bearing.

It's possible but it's only got 1000 miles on it and when I pulled the seal to grease them they looked good. Many tunnel vibrations on Apexes are caused by a bad speedo side drive axle bearing.
Track is fairly tight, not as tight as I've run them in the past.
The vibration seems to clear up after about 60

It was just the stupid belt. I should have checked that first but it only had about 800 miles on it. Previous owner must have smoked it. I slapped on a new belt and it's smooth as silk

Nice, easy fix. PO must have towed or got stuck and smoked that sucker. They're normally pretty bulletproof
