yes i was wondering i see alot of people talking about an evacuation set up but what do you need it for the ecp kit comes with a crank case k&n filter.

With extended Wide open throttle usage... oil actually spoos out the breather...
The other problem was that some of us experienced top end loss which was blamed on crankcase pressure created when an engine of this size is spun to 10,300rpms..
The crancase kit we are talking about creates a vacume that sucks off some of the crankcase pressure!! and also sucks some of the oil back into the engine burning it!

Tom is correct. With the evac kit you can simply unscrew a cap and drain the water. You won't believe how much collects :shock:

The actual answer to your question is that you don't HAVE to have an evac. They do however make a little more power with a proper evac connected. Only some experienced oil coming from the crankcase vent filter.[/u]

Why is it only SOME have oil coming from the vent filter. This ties in with the oil consumption problem does it not?
