i was looking around and found this pic. Was wondering if anyone knew anything about this?.. I like the way they use the stock exhaust covers to be used as lights. Just wondering is you mod your existing tail light or does it come with the new cover?[/img]

It looks to be a Muzzy exhaust pipe. I'd guess some created a custom mid pipe and attached it to his headers. Then filled the holes with a wire fabric or mesh.
You can also see he had to remove his tail light from the back to accommodate the size of the pipe/ silencer.

The plastic shrouds look to be from an Apex Mtn version ... They had a unique plastic shroud as the taillight was mounted further back on the tunnel. None-the-less, it was modded to fit the exhaust.
Thats micron's tademark on the exhaust

That's the 121/136 Apex rear exhaust plastic. The mountain version didn't have a whole in the upper portion of it (where the tail light is). Looks like someone spent some time customizing.

I think your better off going with Excell's kit from Ulmer, or if you want to go custom, fabbing up your own custom plastics like this:
Looks cleaner IMHO and you still have a tail light. Although looking at the kit above it appears he could have angled his tail pipe lower and kept his tailight intact. He just angled it really high, coming off the mid pipe....

I like the other look, the excell pipe hangs to far out and looks undone.

Yeah, I just don't like the look of the side panels. I prefer to leave the stock exhaust covers there. The little boxed in wrap around that exell has to me just don't look right
