Does the fx nytro pull as hard as the apex??????

I have an apex and my buddy just bought an rtx se nytro. Apex most def pulls harder, I have never lost to a nytro but never raced an xtx either. I think traction is the real factor, both pull but if the apex hooks, it's over.

Alright.... If you want to talk about traction, then yes, if both are hoodked solid, the extra cylinder will prevail. But, if there is any kind of slippage, then the Nytro will be their for the short term and I'm talking at a 60-70mph roll on, it may be their to 80-85 and then the Apex will start to walk it.. Add some power adders to the Nytro and it';s the same or better for the Nytro to 105mph... Stock for stock the Apex will go past a little before the century mark. Do you know how many times I have heard of Nytro's beating an Apex until 90-95mph? Alot....

My 136 rtx nytro vs my buddies 06 attack, both stock motors, very close race. Its almost always dead even, basically whoever hooks up best gets a few sled lengths. But we also have the same top speed it seems like...so I'm not sure whats going on there. Side by side on a railroad bed he'll see 116 and I'll see 99 but we'll be going the same speed.

However you look at it, they are very close.

Last season a friend of mine wanted to ride my Attak 07' by the way so I let him we had a 09' XTX in the group that had 3500 miles on it already so it was broke in. I rode my son's phazer following my daughter on her first trip riding alone so I got back to the trail head after everyone else. Well my buddy was grinning from ear to ear and his wife said "he likes it". I said "do you?" and he said "man this thing flies". He said he raced the XTX all the way back and when they hit the lake they lined up again. He said the XTX jumped out ahead as he just blew my track loose but he said by 40 mph he caught up and they stayed fairly even until 70 mph then it was lights out for the XTX and he said the higher they went the farther it pulled away. I have ridden Nytros and the XTX mentioned and there is no comparison power wise. I'm not saying the Nytros' are slow not in the least but it just doesn't compare tomy Attak especially now with the transfer rod removed and running the 151x15x2" challenger track it's skis up past 100mph. get it on some hard pack and you better hang on hard.

Ok, so you have a 2" track and the control removed from the Attack against a stock XTX?
