Well I had a crappy weekend to say the least!!!
I hit a piece of rail... and man did I do some damage!
To make a long story short, my brother broke a rail on his venture and when I went to get help I hit a rail going about 60kph. Things that need to be replaced are:
Spindle
Primary clutch
Steering rod
Both front and side hood pieces
Ski
$1000.00

The photo shows a crane lowering my RX into my shed and oh yeah, I was 26 miles from nowhere when it happened. The first pic shows a few cosmetic mods before I
it up.

Hit a rail? You mean like a train rail? Where do you ride that there are rails just lying around?

I was near a rail line (CNR) and they leave junk everywhere….Hear is a close-up.
This isn't that big a deal but as you all know yammy parts are $$$$$ and I really can't afford this crap right now!!! $1000.00
I'm also pretty lucky, because if I was a few more inches to the left it would have went right through the engine!!
also disregard the false date at the bottom.

yamrx1......I had the same thing happen my first year on my rx1. The stock a-arms are so strong that when you take a hit the snindle housing bends and the a-arms are salvagable. When I have been running aftermarket arms they bend and the spindle stays intact. I'm not sure what is better.

I trashed the left side of my sled a couple weeks ago going down a power line, I was going 60mph and hit one of those wires that hold up the telephone poles, and some poor guy died a couple days ago in the same area that I hit a wire but he wasn't so lucky and died
drive safe guys!

DAGE,
I heard of people hitting those wires before and most of the accidents ended in death or extreme injuries...glad to hear you're unscaved!
TIMMINS? I live in Gogama. (I work there) small world.
