Donuts & Y-pipe help....

My Y-pipes should be in any day now, and then i will be getting my donuts and Y-pipes swapped out on my 06 RTX.

My question: What is the life of these new Y-pipes and dunts? Do the donuts wear out as quick as 2 stroke donuts do? Or is this a permanent fix?

I just got this sled, so im not too farmiliar with it, your help is appreciated.

I was told that they should be checked/changed every 5,000kms or 3000-3500 miles in your case.
I say check but by the time you get it all apart to look at them, you might as well replace them. Pretty cheap maintenance that saves you big before something bad happens.
