Guys, looking for info regarding the install of the 9t Doo drivers on my '07 Apex RTX with PROACTIVE CK suspension. I did a search and found the string in the Nytro section -

but not much else. Would like confirmation that I could use those dimensions, or maybe some different ones, and if anyone can think of any "gotcha's" that I should be aware of.
Drivers will be used with new 121" fully clipped Camo. 'Cobra'.
Thanks much, -Al

I'm using a very similar setup. I've posted the part numbers on here somewhere. They are the 9-tooth, 2.52" combination drivers from BRP. I'm not sure what year/model Revs they came on, but they are identical to the ones on my buddy's '07 MXZ 800X-RS.
As for the calculations, we basically measured the centre distance between the old drivers and placed the center of the new drivers on that line. I finally came to a measurement from the chaincase side end of the shaft to the edge of each driver. It wasn't too difficult and it ended up dead nuts on both sleds we did.
Hope that helps.. i'll keep looking for the exact measurements.

How much of a pain is dropping the track to do this?

That's about it. There is no part of it that's particularly difficult when broken down to a step by step level. I would not recommend the job to a first timer. The reverse gear adds considerable complexity to an otherwise fairly straightforward project. FWIW.
