Do you guys grind a small indentation in the clutch sheave were the overdrive portion of the weight sits to increase belt clearance?
Iam trying a set of drag n flys in a phazer with the yamaha black spring. Iam a bit low on mid and top end with the weights empty but it pulls much harder and better top end then stock set up already. So maybe iam going to have to look for a primary spring with a higher fullshift tension

You do not need to grind anything with the DFW's.... I believe with the original HC's the moveable sheave had to be cutout to allow for clearance of the heal. I would suggest if you're installing the DFW's to make sure they swing out all the way without any clearance issues before installation of spring.
