I am about to replace the track on my Apex GT and I want to replace the drive axle before it breaks. is there an update for the 2006 part number which is : 8FA-47511-00-00?

What is everyone using? Any stronger aftermarket or updated part number?

what kind of mileage are you guys getting out of the stock ones? my dad's has yet to fail and he as roughly 8000 miles on it. she's been put through the paces but as been kept up on maintenance with a fine tooth comb, i have yet to find any cracks or hair line cracks in it?

I had 11,000 on mine without a mark or issue with it. I am not easy on my sled either as I busted the whole rear skid.

15,000 on each of two '06 apexs. No cracks in either. Replaced with factory parts. Sane rider...

I had a lil over 10K on mine. I didnt see any cracks but I decided to replace it with one from Ulmer (http://www.ulmerracing.com/) with teh Wahl extroverts already installed.
