Getting ready to go through the sled for the season. I want to replace the drive axle before it breaks on me half way to Chibagamau!!!!

Is there an updated part number or an aftermarket shaft that is PROVEN to be stronger? What else to replace at 10,000 miles? I wal planning on replacing the axle, drive sprockets, track, chain case gears and chain....

I would go with the beefy Ulmer one ! just in case you add more power, you wouldnt have to worry about the unit! thinking about doing it my self at 8800mi.,but i know guys with more miles stock shaft and no breaks..im with ya, dont want to break down out there :die , i may do it so i can sleep at nite when its time to burn some gas !! :drink:

ULMER WITH EXTROVERT DRIVERS

If i go with the extrovert driver what is a good track choice for trail riding / touring?

I think you can get drive shafts from Ulmer with the extrovert sprockets already pressed on.

I have the Camoplast Ice Ripper 1.25 ,the best track i have ever put on or owned for the trails ! i will never stud again,60-70% snow anyway for me ! shocked how well it hooked up ! :sled2:
