Dropping Weight on the front. Lets do it!

Hands down the most exspensive would have to be the sub-frame from Diamond S MFR. at Titanium: $3125.00 and Chromoly: $1500.00. for a 6 lbs weight loss. Using titainium nuts and bolts everywhere you could would take off a few oz's here and there. Using CMX's Belt drive system which runs above $2000 dollars for their kit. just to name a few. I read of people relocating their batteries toward the back of the sled while running under tunnel exhausts. You are not loosing any weight but at least you are taking it off the front end.

Plan on building a carbon fiber sub frame that copies the m suspension this winter/summer. Just dreams right now.

Gripper Skis are a maybe.

Removing the headlight, but it works well and kinda like leaving some stuff alone. When I do a cf hood I think I will make it for smaller lights.

Plan on also making a kevlar skid plate.

I like the idea of using a Lightweight battery AND moving it back under the seat on an undertunnel exhaust. It drops 10 lbs and also moves another 3.5 lbs off the front end onto the back end, improving the overall balance. Putting that mod on my list.
