Electrical issue when cold

So what caused my problem the relay or the solenoid? I'm confused.

There is no solenoid on the Phazer, other sleds, or motorcycles. Only cars and trucks have starter solenoids. I can't diagnose your problem from afar, except to say that the relay should click when you turn key to start. You would not normally hear this because the starter would engage almost simultaneously and that noise would cover the click noise. But the relay is the clicking sound you should hear when the starter won't turn over.

From what I've heard here, it just seems as if the relay is freezing to the point of inoperation.

FYI: Cars/trucks have both- relays and solenoids. Sometimes the relay is built into the starter, where the solenoid always is, but not usually.
