How can I actually tell if my electronic ohlins on my Gt are actually working. Should I hear anything? I think the rebound changes a little. How can I tell if they are doing what they are suppose to do? :yam:

Ride it on soft down a bumpy trail then ride it on hard down the same trail. You will feel the difference immediately.Other than that I don't think you can hear it or tell if it is working with the sled sitting still.

No you cant hear it..

Yes you should be able to tell a slight difference.. BUT NOT MUCH!!

Ive tried mine from soft to hard and made not a really huge difference on really nasty stuff.. but does seem to make a difference on washboard type stuff

If you adjust your rebound clicker on the shock and it doesnt click when you turn it.. THE SHOCK IS DAMAGED OR BLOWN OR LOST ITS NITROGEN CHARGE

Mine makes a HUGE difference. After playing with it in the studder bumps here is what I have found. If your stuck in traffic and your only rolling 25 - 30 mph you set it to soft maby 3 bars up. When you increase your speed you set it to harder and it smooths the bumps out like you would not believe. In 1-2' chop the adj. acts more like a speed control. The faster you hit the bumps the harder you set the control and depending on your speed you can dial the bumps right out. After using it I can't believe they make fixed shocks. The adj. has to be made for a certian speed not bump size. It's all about the timing on your rebound. I think it works like a champ. Doug

The biggest difference is felt when you are bottoming out. Move the adjuster to hard and voila and no more bottoming. It's works for me but I only weight 150 Ibs. It may not work for a heavier rider.
