Ohlins blown on Apex GT? How do I tell? I looked underneath My Apex Gt and there is a black film on my yellow spring on the Ohlins. Is it blow? I did notice it was bottoming out last weekend on the bigger bumps. How do I check if it is blown?

I think the guys who have posted about a blown Ohlins have stated that when pushing down on the rear bumper, it was noticeably soft. Wipe the film off first then push it down to see if oil is leaking from shock.

Yep,
It felt like a old bed spring while pushing down on the bumper. I also lifted the black washer that is site against the shock and it had oil on it. Cleaned it and did the same thing again and had oil on it.
While I had it out I tried to compress it to see if it was soft. I found you need to remove the spring first.
My new shock should be in mid next week....
