First gen SDI (Ski-doo) needed the box flashed with large elevation changes. Will this apply to 06 Yamaha sleds, or will the sled compensate for pressure and elevation changes on it's own?

How ya doing Grape
It factors in a barometer reading (info also used in the LCD gauge so you can play weather man) as well as a manifold pressure sensor. Should altitude compensate just fine
Its a 4-stroke, and its a yamaha so It will run great. I drove one at 11,000 feet and the throttle responce was like nothing I have ever ridden before. Cant wait. ===SRXSRULE===

As Rulesey said the jetting will be fine but your gonna have to lighten up the primary a few grams to get rpm,s in the sweet spot.
Thanks Turk, we are having a debate on what elevation the Mtn Apex will come clutched and geared for. I say 6000 and the service manager thinks sea level....

Past yamaha mountain sleds have been lowland sleds with longer tracks. This year they made a serious change and built a real mountain sled. I'm sure they upped the clutching elevation.
