You can check the throttle cable adjustment to make sure TORS is n't kicking in. It's possible the cable is getting a little drag and not returning as fast as it needs to. These are for my Nytro but your RX1 has a similar adjustment.

If the free play checks out, then make sure the cable moves freely. You should disconnect both ends to check it. There should be little to no drag on it.
If those thing check out then......we'll need some more input.
PS Please take the time to update your location in your profile, Thanks!

TORS did not go bad. Actually, it is probably working correctly, if your throttle freeplay is not adjusted correctly.
What happens is; when the throttle cable freeplay is not adjusted correctly, TORS precludes the sled from running off by itself. It actually is designed to sense a frozen or damaged throttle cable. If the cable freezes or gets too hard to move in its housing, then the TORS slows the sled down. When TORS slows the sled down, it acts just like you described.
