Hi all. I have posted before regarding this problem, seems to be back. RX started fine through out the summer, every month warmed it up.
I have installed new coil's, plugs, 91 octane fuel, seafoam every tank.
Temperature is a bit cold at -3 nothing to worry about.
The sled just backfires when starting.
Removed plugs , NGK 9E they were noticeably carboned, emery cloth cleaned off applied a bit of heat, reinstalled, same thing just backfires.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

Pilots need to be cleaned. or better yet, toss in trash and install new ones. Usually thats many of the starting problems on the RX1 and Vectors.

Cleaning plugs doesn't work. Try brand new ones even though the set you have may not be old.Hi all. I have posted before regarding this problem, seems to be back. RX started fine through out the summer, every month warmed it up.

Hi All. Thanks for your input. I purchased new Cr9e plugs at the local distributor. He mentioned that he recently has experienced plugs being returned for non performance.Cleaning plugs doesn't work. Try brand new ones even though the set you have may not be old.
Installed the new plugs, fired up right away, easy fix, but a head scratcher. I guess gone are the days of taking a plug out and cleaning, reinstalling and working. Seems to be the direction of products these days, a throw away world.
