we were out in the blizzard Sunday night hitting drifts and having a blast (not getting stuck by the way is awesome!) stopped for a couple beers because the trails were blocked by down trees . Started up to go home and Engine light came on and died I started it back up ran a little funny and died one more time stopping at a stop sign, backfired a little bit the engine light stayed on the whole time. I started it today and engine lights not on and runs fine, I’m thinking I had snow in the air cleaner ? What do you guys think?

Or water in the gas?

No code, just CEL?

There had to have been a code if the light was lit.

We were doing the same thing, and my Apex did the same, but threw a code 20 up on the screen. From what I read here, it was an in balance in air pressure or moisture in the airbox.

Four of us had just crossed a lake, 2-up to pick up sleds and hit very slushy, near open water. I and the sled were covered in water, and it instantly froze an ice layer on is. It was shortly after on the next startup that the code went. I pulled it into the shop and thawed it off, and the code went away.

Not saying my sled has a "gaydar" but four dudes nuts to butts was probably pushing it's masculinity sensor.

Lol !! ok that’s what I was thinking but I didn’t see a code on the dash

had that happen before on the 11 when drift busting. i think it was snow in the air box as it did trip a light but it went away once i thawed the sled out. still thinking about getting an outerwears to put over the stock air box snorkel as when i took the hood off to change a belt, the entire nose cone is always filled full of snow tight to the hood.

Ya, I shared this video in another thread already. But this was a few hours before the code on Saturday. I tell you what, I will take a code daily, if I get to surf pow all day, every day!!!
