engine idiot light

Just changed my oil for the first time and when I started the sled up I had the yellow/orange light on the bottom. the engine picture was blinking on the display also.

Is this normal? If so, how do I reset?

No it is not normal. Is there a code number? Did you hook up the sensor on the airbox?

Did you re-connect the sensor wire to the top of the dipstick?

Forgot the sensor on the airbox. Now I feel about 54% retarted.

I purposley left off the wire connector to the dipstick when I changed my oil, and I got no warning light. Same thing on my wifes.

Is this normal? Seems to me not very fail-safe design, or it is on a delay timer.
