Engine Light

I was out for a ride and had to return back home. My warning light was flashing 2 times on and off with the engine picture on the LCD display. I had to drive almost a hundred miles just to get out of the bush to get back home. Any ideas what it could be???

I don't have my manual handy but I know if you look in there it will give you some codes on what the different flashing patterns mean.

i think flashing twice is a grip warmer code....i'll try to look at my manual tomorrow.

Yes, I figured out it is the grip code. I was panicked when I was in the bush thinking it was serious. I screwed around with the wiring so I will have to go through it.

do yourslef a favor...and go on ebay and buy the owners manual in cd. its the best 10-12 bucks you'll spend. i have a cd and a hard copy in a three ring binder. money well spent.

Sucks eh when u are in the middle of nowere and u get a light flashing

i agree..i made a copy of the pages with warning lights and put them in a zip lock bag and put them in the tool box of the sled...might come ine handy

I didn't have my owners manual with me. Anyway, that won't happen again. The codes will be with the machine.
