Found this last night going through the skid. This is the bolt that goes from rail to rail near the bottom of the front torque arm. Went to loosen it and found the bolt sheared off inside the small shaft/spacer (about 1" from head of bolt). Ever seen this before? If not, something for others to look for.

It is part #17 on the Fiche in "Track Suspension 2" diagram.

i would take a real close look at the support bracket and the rail where that bolt goes through.
you might find the rail is cracked.

Bottom line......you're going to need a lighter more agile sled trying to keep pace with me and my Phazer!

Keep pace with the FartBox Phazer?!?!?! Oh wait, there was the one time I rode with one spark plug disconnected and and my good arm tied behind my back!! You're right though, the ol' Attak is a handful in those hot corners riding Nascar style it with you and Tim. haha. Lookin forward this winter.

I dont think it is over-torquing. I pull the skid every year and go through every nut, bolt and bushing one-by one. When I reassemble, everything gets torqued to factory spec as per the service manual, I am pretty fanatic about having everything properly torqued. Rails are neither cracked or bent and front torque arm bracket that is mounted on the rail is also fine.

Looking closer at the spacer that bolt runs through (spacer mounts between the rails), it is flared/bulging on one end, so something happened at one point in time while riding. I will just add this to the checklist of the many parts I have broke in the Mono.

Find it hard to believe that you would break something Steve the way we ride nice and easy :tg:
