I pulled my seat off to polish the tunnel and noticed the bottom of the seat is covered w/ some exhaust carbon....Is this normal? Just want to make sure I don’t have a donut problem. Sled is a 2013 SE w/ 1,500 miles. Thanks...

2013 ? doesn't that have the variable exhaust valve if it is I though the headers were different on those and did not have the flex tubes and donuts.

Could it be belt dust?

I don't think so. I actually noticed some on the outside bottom of my seat. It came off w/ some 409. Water would not take off. Not sure how belt dust would get under seat like that either. I ran the sled for about 10 min's w/ seat off and could not see any leak ect??

I thought it looked like belt dust too for what its worth.

Does kind of look like belt dust actually. Just not sure how it got there. Thanks.

Could be the donuts. Just do the simple trick and see. Block exhaust ports and see if it dies or continues to run.

Thanks--That's easy enough.
