I have been out of the game for a bit and can't find the answer by searching. Are the exhaust donuts any better on the 2011 and up Apex's? Did the copper ones end up being the answer for the older Apex's? The jury was out a few years ago when I sold my sled. Thanks for the feedback!!

Copper ones for the old ones apparently new style apex OEM donuts are better because they are larger...? from what I've gathered.

They do last longer than the original 06 and 08 I had. I ran 12,000km on OEM donuts on my 11, and although still in fairly decent shape and not making noise, I replaced with Copper donuts. One clamp was loose and one or two donuts were starting to de-laminate but not disintegrate like I have had happen on previous sleds.
They are larger diameter than before, and seem to have a reinforcing mesh embedded in them, so for sure more robust than the old generation. I did notice the mesh actually left an imprint like a knurl pattern inside the titanium flare of the exhaust pipes which I cleaned up before installing copper donuts.
