I want to have my exhaust come off the turbo and dump into tunnel but I'm wondering if it will plug in the powder.

Someone on Snowest has done it. Should be a recent post . . .

I have a 2.5" striaght pipe off the turbo into my tunnel. So does TDOO and I beleive Snowy1 as well. Go for it.
Fairly quiet and no restriction........and a seat with a big a$$ trunk

I was thinking about doing that also. I modified the pipe going to the stock can and added two extra outlets out of the back instead. My concern would be too much heat onto the track and heat exchanger in a trail sled (not nearly enough snow for cooling). May work for a powder sled though. I blew a track once already and would be certain destruction if the exhaust was to dump into the track area. Tracks don't like heat!

I have cpr front mount I cut the exhaust about a 1/2 inch through the tunnel works fine not very loud there,s enough room between the track and the top of the tunnel that heat is not a problem I do have a mountain performance drop and roll 9 tooth 2" camo

I'm not sure where you would have the exhaust exit. Anything near the track would be too Hot. I assume this would be after the muffler? Anything before would be melt city.
BTW after a couple of hundred miles with the GP-1 exhaust, I don't recomend it for a trail rider. Just too loud for a long ride. Great for drag racing, radar runs and the occasional lake race. Saves alot of weight too. But the noise is annoying after awhile. It also takes away the stealth mode of the turbo. With all the noise, people expect you to be fast.

I've been building this style of exhaust now for two years and dumping it out onto the track has done nothing to the track,it never gets hot, cause there is always snow there, and the best part is that it's noisier when it's sitting there on the ground but once you're in the snow it's actually quieter than stock as the snow is the muffler, but my front mount turbo will have the exhaust dump out into a wide flare inside the tunnel with a small down turn at the end and I'll bet you'll hardly hear it.You certainly won't see it and it will make the rear of the sled very neat and clean.

Is your turbo a rear or front mount? I have the Bender Rear Mount, would like to see a pic if anyone has theirs dumping into tunnel.
