Is anyone having any problems or concerns with heat on there sled with exhaust? I have a 08 Nytro RTX now is an XTX with a header and Barker slip on tip with MPI stage I Supercharger running 9 PSI on 92 and above fuel and I have a heat problem. If I am trail riding around 75 mph at 7500 rpm when you stop you can feel the heat and when you stop for fuel or just to shut down for a drink/eat it is HOT under there.

My A/F readings are on at 11’s WOT and around 13 at cruising so I feel good with my fuel mixture.
I feel that I have a heat problem. If I am trail riding around 75 mph at 7500 rpm when you stop you can feel the heat under the sled and when you stop for fuel or just to shut down for a drink/eat it is HOT under there. And it is right under my trail tank.

Has anyone done anything different like heat wrap or am I being to overly sensitive to this?

You could ceramic your header/exhaust. That would hold the heat in better..

It would, I guess a better question would be, does anyone else feel this way? and what are you doing to help it?

Only reason I am asking, there is a lot I could do, but I am not going to throw money at something now know if it will fix it.
