Seen it a couple of years ago, before Yamaha came out with it. O'Brien's sales and service came up with the idea and a lot of pros in southern Labrador has this installed. works good at keeping the ice out the tunnel. Had the procedure and had intentions of doing my pro but never got around to doing it!

Seen it a couple of years ago, before Yamaha came out with it. O'Brien's sales and service came up with the idea and a lot of pros in southern Labrador has this installed. works good at keeping the ice out the tunnel. Had the procedure and had intentions of doing my pro but never got around to doing it!
I think the pipe coming out should be longer and turned down. There would be a lot of heat going back on anything in the rack, especially when towing a load and working the engine hard. Not sure who installed the one in the picture I have attached but it looks like a much better set up then the way the Yamaha kit has the pipe coming out.
