Does anybody know what kind of shocks are on the expert Xs? My expert X is about 5 years old now and my guess would be skidoo shocks judging by the styling and warning labels but I am not sure. Also does anybody know who can rebuild them/ are they rebuildable?
Thanks,
Luke
I am sure this is said over and over again but the customer service at ad bovin is horrible. They lost my order, contact information, and billing information. All said and done it took 2 months to get my 136 kit from them only to find they forgot to pack the hardware!
Thanks,
Luke

Aaron did my shocks with my last Expert. Did a great job.
I have 2 into 1 remote adjustable from HyGear now.

I'm pretty sure they are ski-doo shocks.
Right now customer service is a little hit and miss since Annie, the usual customer service person has been on vacation all summer. Should get better when she returns.

The customer service is absolutely horrible. I had to order some parts and I'm wondering if I'll even get what I was billed for. It'd be a lot easier if I spoke french.
The shocks are KYB's. I'm having a local guy rebuild/revalve mine right now. I want them STIFF.

Thanks guys
Thanks for all the help. I am sending them to Aaron tomorrow and having them re-valved too. The rest of the skid is getting power coated. Will have a project post soon.

I'm powdercoating my entire skid too. What a pain pulling out all the oil lite bushings in the swingarms.

This is the reply I got From Denis Boivin some time ago:
The slide profile is the same as SKI-DOO suspension C-7 (1995-1997)
Regards
Denis
When I went into a local shop to get a set, they gave me a set that was meant for a Ski-Doo Skandic. This is probably what you need as I had to cut them to a short track length. I think they were profile 8 (in most catalogues)
