How is everyone going about extending the gauge harness when relocating the gauge to the handle bars?
I really want to do a Roest IP vent with the gauge on the steering post to get it out of the snow better and easier to see, but I just don't see how to make the stock harness reach that high up.

I took mine and extended the wires. I soldered and heat shrinked them. They say you can cut the tape and there is enough extra wire in the harness but I felt this was a better option.
