I noticed the factory overfilled my oil tank and now some oil is coming out the airbox, should I drain some oil or leave until my oil change comes due in 100 miles? Also the air filter rack was not cliped in on one side so I was probably sucking in some snow, do you think could cause any major problems?

hi pete, you can drain a bit out to avoid some mess,i think cat tails are more of a worry than snow..hehe..but you probably didnt suck any snow in with what we have out there right now

I think its from putting the sleds on the side, the engine breather hose doesn't have a check valve on it. You know when you check the oil your suppose to just stick the dipstick in as far as it goes and check it, your not suppose to thread it in and check it.

Mine has never been on it's side, and I don't tread it in to check the level. The level was about 1/4" higher then the "H" mark.

It was just a thought, I can't see a 1/4 inch causing anything.

Yep, some Nytros came from the factory with their oil overfilled. It gave me a moment of concern when I first noticed a puddle of oil under my short track Nytro back in November.

Probably dealer overfilled and not factory overfilled.
